Modern Blog

I hope everyone is having a relaxing Labor Day Weekend. I found this red skirt at Express and really loved the patch pocket details. I paired it with my go-to striped top and this beautiful, Azure Luxe statement necklace from Shinymix which adds a chic touch to the outfit. I hope you like it.

Hi everyone. For this post, Vince Camuto gifted me this beautiful, jungle lily print dress to style for a ‘Day to Night’ look. And being a fashion blogger on a budget I am always looking for new ways to get the most out my wardrobe. I especially like this floral dress because the layered top and spaghetti strap details definitely give a girl added options to wear it for different occasions.

For my daytime look I added a denim jacket, a Panama hat and sandals. It’s a perfect outfit for running errands on the weekend or heading to the farmers market. For the nighttime look I added pair of heels and kept everything simple. I put my hair up, added a clutch and a few accessories on my way to a night out with friends. What do you guys think about both looks? Which one is your favorite?

Hello everyone. I hope you are all having a great weekend. For today’s look I wanted to showcase this wonderful b&w print top from Ro&De. I thought it would look perfect paired with a black skirt and it started to all come together. Keeping with the monochrome theme I added a pair of black heels. I just loved how feminine and beautiful it made me feel. I hope you like it too.

Hello everyone. Although I wasn’t born in the 70’s I have always been a fan of the styles including flared jeans and boho hats. So, today I went with my ownĀ  modern interpretation of the look complete with striped shirt, striped sandals and a black bucket bag. I think it is a good mix of comfortable and chic styling. I really loved the look and planned on adding a wide brown belt but forgot to bring it along. Fortunately, i think it works without it too. I hope you like it.

It has been awhile since I have gone for a stroll along the beautiful canals in Venice, CA. The weather was perfect for this ivory, crochet dress that I got a while back from BCBGMaxazria. I love the intricate detailing and the fit is perfect. I decided to pair the look with these snakeskin inspired sandals from Banana Republic. I hope you like it.
