Happy Sunday everyone, Today’s shoot was centered by this wonderful rag & bone denim skirt that I found this weekend. They say it is all in the details and in this case it was the button down front and small pockets that won me over. I wanted to keep this look casual so I paired the skirt with this chambray shirt and sandals for a casual daytime look. I finished off with a necklace and this beautiful, striped tote to add a just a touch of Parisian whimsy. I hope you like it.
I hope everyone is having a great week so far. One great thing about doing a fashion blog is that it gets you out of the house to go and explore every corner of your city. For today’s adventure, I headed down to the docks in Marina Del Rey. It was so peaceful to walk down the boardwalk and watch the boats come and go. I wore a pair of chambray shorts and a simple tee under my orange blazer. I love how the blazer gives the outfit something extra,; a bit of chic coolness that seemed the perfect nautical look for an afternoon of sailing in the harbor.
This weekend I decided to getaway to a windy San Francisco. My hotel room had this wonderful view of the bay and the famous Coit Tower. Having never been to the tower I decided to make it an adventure to walk there and take photos along the way. It was a beautiful walk but it was also a lot longer than it looked from my window. Nothing a couple band-aids on my heels couldn’t fix.
My trek took me through an art exhibit in Washington Square and then up a winding, wooded pathway to the tower. I didn’t think about it at the time but it turned out that it was the perfect setting to wear this khaki safari dress. Thank goodness I packed some flats in my bag because I did have to switch back and forth a few times. I hope you enjoy this post. Have a great week everyone.
