Hi everyone. Well, I had to battle through some technical glitches with my blog (WTF does ‘HTTP Error’ mean anyway?) but I finally was able to get this post published. I found this striped long short at J. Crew and thought it would be some different for me to try. I paired it with black jeggings from DSTLD and an extra long burgundy belt to wrap around to break up the pattern. And thinking it just needed that extra touch of something I added this beautiful Havana necklace from Geoffrey Scott. So, http error, aside, I hope you like it.
Happy Labor Day weekend everyone. For this shoot I wanted to play with patterns and I decided to go with a check patterned pencil skirt and check pattern sleeveless top. On paper I would not think similar patterns would look a little busy but when I tried these on they just seemed to work together and it felt like something I would love to wear to the office. The key here that made this work for me was the wide, black bow belt which broke up the two patterns and anchored the look. Never under estimate the power of a simple belt.
Hi everyone. I hope you are enjoying the long weekend. For this look, I wanted to wear bright colors and bold prints. I fell in love with these yellow, striped shorts from Zara. I opted to pair them with this bold print top from Club Monaco for a fun, summer look. I kept the belt and shoes neutral but just had to grab this new colorful clutch from J. Crew to complete the look. I hope you guys like it.
Thank you so much for all your prayers and amazing massages about my mom. The good news is that she is getting better. It’s been a stressful time but reading all your messages really helps me through it. Thanks again.
Happy Sunday everyone, Today’s shoot was centered by this wonderful rag & bone denim skirt that I found this weekend. They say it is all in the details and in this case it was the button down front and small pockets that won me over. I wanted to keep this look casual so I paired the skirt with this chambray shirt and sandals for a casual daytime look. I finished off with a necklace and this beautiful, striped tote to add a just a touch of Parisian whimsy. I hope you like it.
Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone. I just got this beautiful, sheer, sleeveless top from French Connection and could not wait to wear it. I love the feminine Peter Pan collar, picnic-check pattern and cut-out detail. My only debate was what to pair it with first because it would go with so many things in my closet. At the last minute I changed my mind from a black leather skirt and opted instead for these current favorite mid-rise, flared jeans instead. I love the fit and it never hurts that they make me look a few inches taller. The jeans also gave me the option of adding this black fedora to compliment this chic, bohemian look. I hope you like it.
