Hello Everyone. I may be the only fashion blogger I know who hasn’t been to the famous Coachella Music Festival which occurs each Spring in the Cali desert. This year I vowed to attend myself and not just watch all of those happy and fun posts on my phone. The reason, of course, that I have Coachella on my mind is that I just found the perfect, boho chic outfit to wear. The pattern choices and muted colors of this Floral Patchwork dress from Ella Moss work perfectly together. It not only looks amazing but also feels wonderful. The lightweight material flows softly as you walk and even when standing still.
For this look I imagined how I might style it for Coachella by adding these new hip black booties, a choker and matching hat. I hope you like it.
Is anyone else out there going to Coachella next Spring? Let me know. It would be great of we could meet up for a drink.
Hi everyone! Fall and scarves just go together and as you may have noticed lately I have been adding a scarf to many of my recent looks. They just have a simple way of elevating any fall or winter look. Here, I added this orange and gray plaid blanket scarf from Ilymix to a casual jeans and sweater look. It was just the right touch of warmth I needed for the chilly day at UCLA’s beautiful Royce Hall. I hope you like it.
Hi Everyone. With the holidays coming up I have been thinking about the perfect dress to wear to the Season’s parties with family and friends. If you don’t have a dress picked out just yet one to consider is this gorgeous LBD from Ella Moss. It has a wonderful combination of sheer fabric and beading that makes it feel both vintage and modern, sophisticated and sexy. I added a thin black belt to accentuate the waistline, black booties and a matching bag for hip and edgy vibe. I hope you like it.
Hello Everyone! Now that the cold weather is here in LA I feel like I can finally really layer up. For today’s look, I wanted to keep everything simple and also keep myself warm. I paired this new All Saints biker jacket with a sweater and turtleneck combination. I also wore my new favorite pair of jeans. Sometimes I have a love / hate relationship with jeans. They have to look good of course but they have to feel good too. When I decided to add a new pair to my wardrobe I really wanted a pair that didn’t make me feel uncomfortable around my stomach area I didn’t want them to feel tight or accentuate areas that aren’t flattering. I read a lot of reviews on this style from AG and all of them were positive. It doesn’t matter your size or height – just trust me that these jeans were worth every penny I paid for them. And what would a biker look be without a pair of edgy black boots. I hope you like it.
Hello everyone. For this shoot, I headed out to Griffith Park for a quiet stroll along the horse trails and golf course. It was a little chilly which has been overdue here in LA. And, now that fall is here, I love that I can add scarves to just about any look. This cozy scarf is a Plaid Blanket Scarf from Ilymix. I have them in two colors and just love how thick and cozy they are. I went with a off-white, cable knit sweater with a shirt dress underneath and tall books. I thought this look would blend in with the fall colors and wooden fences along the trails.
