There are dresses and then there are dresses. This is the latter. Besides fitting like a glove, this navy, plunging v-neck dress from Fame and Partners made me feel like I could be at an Oscar after party. The silk-like look is actually a material called georgette which is a lightweight, crepe fabric named after the early 20th century French dressmaker Georgette de la Plante (I had to look it up). If the material and color weren’t enough, the sexy mesh panels and spaghetti straps only made me love it more.
Now I am just itching for the right occasion to wear it. Anyone out there need a +1 for a fancy party or having a wedding? Believe me, I’ll find an excuse to wear this as often as I can. I hope you love it as much as I do.
I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend. For this shoot, I wanted to be at the beach relaxing and enjoying my day off from work. Although the weather wasn’t as warm as I had hoped, I loved feeling the sand on my toes and the water splashing on my feet. It was just what I needed.
Most of the swimsuits I have owned have been neutral colors, mostly black and white in fact, so it was refreshing to take a chance on this fantastic, colorful suit from Triangl Swimwear. It was a perfect look for the beautiful ocean views and rock formations of El Matador Beach in Malibu. I hope you like it.
Hi everyone. I hope you guys are having a great day. I’ve been a bit sick (tonsillitis) this past week but I finally got up the strength to do a quick shoot. I wanted to break out my favorite colored jeans from Banana Republic. The soft peach color and fit are amazing and just perfect for Spring. Today I decided to wear them with this chambray shirt for a little bit of pop but I wanted to keep everything else neutral to keep the focus on the pants. I hope you like it.
Hello everyone. Spring was in the air today, I was running some errands and I wanted to be comfortable but fashionable at the same time. I decided to wear this floral, sleeveless print dress with this pair of sneakers. I also added a soft pink bucket bag and these new Oliver Peoples sunglasses that I got as a surprise gift from my husband. This was the perfect outfit to run around town. I hope you like it!
Hi Everyone. Today, I wanted to do a post with a few of my favorite Spring looks I discovered while browsing online. I love the color and clean lines of the salmon, scalloped dress. The over-sized, polka dot shirt looks so comfy and playful. And I may have to head to J. Crew in person to check out those ankle-tie sandals. And best of all, these pieces won’t break the bank. Which is your favorite and do you have a must-have spring item on your shopping list?
