Today I wanted to show you a comfortable and classic outfit I wore over the weekend. This skirt is so versatile, you can either dress it up or down. And I’m in love with the soft, cotton/linen blend and the light, blue color of this shirt. It was harder to decide on the shoes. I narrowed it down to three styles which all worked but in the end I went with these nude, strapped heals because they just felt right in the moment. I hope you guys like it.
Happy weekend everyone. Today I wanted to showcase a super casual and fun look that I love wearing when I have to run around town and do errands. This outfit makes me feel comfortable and chic at the same time. The blazer adds just the right touch of sophistication to an otherwise simple outfit. I love wearing my converse tennis shoes because they are so comfortable and I thought it was about time I put them in a post. I hope you guys like this look as much as I do.
Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a great week so far. This past weekend I headed back to Palm Springs to escape the June gloom of coastal LA. There seems to be no shortage of wonderful locations in the desert landscape and this rock formation was no exception. It was hot but that didn’t stop me from wearing this new Trina Turk sweater I bought that day. The cargo pants are made of a material called cupro that shimmers like silk and feels amazing. I thought the muted colors of this outfit worked well with the natural tones of the rocks and desert floor. I hope you like it.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend, Today I went to Flowers Park in the LA Science Center. I haven’t been there since I was 13 years old but it was just as I remembered it. The park is gorgeous; full of beautiful flowers and very peaceful. A great location to relax, walk around and admire nature. The weather was warmer than I expected so I was really glad I decided to wear this sleeveless, paisley top and white, linen shorts. I paired it with these comfortable white flats which proved ideal for a long afternoon stroll in the park.
I hope everyone is having a great week. A few weeks ago I bought this lace crochet dress and couldn’t wait to wear it. I decided to go to the Grove shopping area in LA and take some photos there and do a little window shopping. In the middle of the shoot a security guard came and told me that I couldn’t take pictures at the Grove unless it was with an iPhone. They actually assigned a security guard to follow me around until I left the property! It was so aggravating. Anyway, I was worried I didn’t have enough shots for this post but I was able to make it work. Anyone else have stories of getting hassled for taking fashion blog photos? Oh, the price we pay for fashion.
